Description of Tour
We pick you up from your hotel in Athens city center or your preferred meeting point and we start our trip to Delphi. Our first stop will be Thiva, one of the oldest Greek cities where we will visit the archaeological site. Next we will arrive to Delphi, located at the south-western slope of Mount Parnassus, where you will be able to explore in detail this magnificent archaeological site. You will have the chance to see the Temple of Apollo, the treasury, the ancient Gymnasium, the ancient theater, the Delphi archaeological museum and more. Next, we will drive to Arachova, the most famous village of Mount Parnassus. Known as the “Mykonos of the winter” you will have time to explore it and taste traditional recipes. Our last stop will be the Osios Lukas Monastery, listed as World Heritage site of UNESCO, the monastery is a fine example of Byzantine architecture.
