Description of Tour
We pick you up from your hotel in Athens city center, your preferred meeting point or cruise terminal and we start our Athens Riviera adventure. Our first stop will be the new architectural jewel of Athens, Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, home of the National Opera and National Library of Greece. There you will explore the outdoor and indoor spaces and you will enjoy magnificent views. Then you will visit the historic Averof ship museum. Averof ship played a pivotal role in the modern Greek History as it participated in WW1, WW2 and in the Balkan wars. After Averof we will drive though the beautiful Athenian Riviera, pass by some of the most exclusive suburbs of Athens and we will reach Lake Vouliagmeni where you will be able to swim in the most breathtaking place of Athens. After your relaxing time in lake Vouliagmani, it’s time to head south to cape Sounion and visit the amazing Temple of Poseidon.
