Description of Tour
DAY 1: We pick you up from your hotel in Athens city center or your preferred meeting point and at the comfort of your private car we start our 2-day Mainland Greece exploration. Your driver will pass by the cities of Thiva and Livadia until you will reach Delphi. There you will have plenty of time to explore “the navel of the universe” as it was considered in ancient Greece and feel the unique energy of the area. Among the monuments that you will see are: the Temple of Apollo, the treasury, the ancient Gymnasium, the ancient theater and of course the Delphi archaeological museum. Then you will hop on your car and you will continue your trip to Meteora. Along the way you will stop at the famous Thermopylae, where the famous battle took place and see the monument. Your trip will continue until you will reach Kalampaka, where you will spend the night.
DAY 2: After your breakfast we will drive up at the magnificent Meteora where you will visit two cliff top Monasteries and enjoy breathtaking views. Meteora is considered one of the most beautiful and unique areas in whole Greece. After your visit we will start driving back to Athens.
