Description of Tour
We pick you up from your hotel in Athens city center, your preferred meeting point, airport or cruise terminal and we head directly to old Athens where you will explore the Acropolis area, Plaka’s narrow streets and the rest of Athens old town.
Our next station will be Syntagma square where you will admire the Greek parliament building, the tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the famous Presidential guards. Then we will head to Irodou Atitkou street, known as the most exclusive street in Greece, where you will see the Maximou Mansion, which is the official residence of the Greek Prime Minister, and the Presidential House, which is the official residence of the Greek President of the Hellenic Republic.
Next, your driver will pass you by three of the most important monuments of Athens, the Panathenaic stadium, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. Your Athens highlights tour will end with a visit to Panepistimio area where you will be able to see the three most famous Athens Neoclassical buildings (The National Library of Greece, The Academy of Athens and the University of Athens)
